Is it possible to pick my order up?

Certainly! But please bear in mind that we do not have a "storefront", just a warehouse that works nicely for locals who would like the option of picking up their order. Please place your order via website or phone in, we can then tell you when it will be available for pick-up. Please note our physical address is: (where you will be picking up your order)

Don't you need my phone number?

Yes! We are working to incorporate a place for contact information (phone numbers) on the order form, but until that is hammered out, please remit a contact number. Often we receive orders, and after numerous unanswered e-mails, we put on our Sherlock Holmes cap, and try to sleuth down a contact number. This delays tremendously the arrival of your order.

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes. Our customer range covers on-going businesses as well as start ups, therefore we have set our prices to accommodate all levels. You will find that pricing on small quantities are well below retail pricing and medium to large quantities are at competitive wholesale pricing.

I received my fragrances and noticed that they are not filled to the top. What's up?

We purchase our oils by weight, not volume, therefore, that is the way we must sell it. Some oils are very dense, and would occupy less space in the bottle than one that was less dense.

I'm not sure how much fragrance I will need to use. Any recommendations?

For cold process soap add .5 to .7 oz of fragrance per lb of oils in your recipe. For melt & pour soap add .3 to .5 oz fragrance per lb of soap base. Candles, (not gel) at a rate of .5 oz per lb of wax, this will yield a candle that is pretty potent. If you prefer a lighter scent cut back accordingly. For lotion, liquid soap, or sprays use at 1% to 3% fragrance to the weight.

Are your fragrance oils "skin-safe"?

Absolutely! The majority of our customers are soap makers who need a cosmetic grade fragrance for the production of their wares.

I don't think I want to pay "on-line". Is this a problem?

Not at all. For those not wanting to purchase on-line, e-mail (fssoap@intnet.net) your order, and we will send you back an order confirmation with all pertinent information. You can also call in your order at 727-798-6952. We accept check or money orders, as well as PayPal payments. PayPal is a credit card processor, and they accept many types of credit cards for your purchasing pleasure. It doesn't cost any more for you when paying through PayPal.

What about shipping costs?

Shipping costs will be calculated once we receive your order. Once your order comes through we then figure what actual shipping costs are and send that information back to you, along with a recap of your order. Shipping costs are payable through PayPal as well. Unfortunately, we cannot use a percentage or flat rate for shipping soap supplies, it just doesn't work. Just to let you know, we try to get the best price for you for the shipping of your order. We use FedEx, UPS and USPS.

What about shipping/shipment problems?

I want to make some lip balm. What amount of flavor oils will I need to use?

For flavoring lip balms, the recommended use is 1% to 3% by weight. If you like it strong, you can use up to 5%.
