Rosemary Oil Extract A naturally derived preservative. Made up of oil soluble compounds, not soluble in water. The antioxidant compounds in ROE are resistant to lye, so you may add to the soap batch prior to saponification. We like to add to warm oils before adding lye for complete dispersion. ROE can also be used in creams, lotions and salves, just incorporate into the oil phase of your recipe. Use 1 tsp to 1 Tbl for each 10 lb batch.

Macadamia Nut Oil Macadamia Nut oil is cold-pressed, and yields a highly unsaturated oil that is easily absorbed into the skin. Like Kukui Nut Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil is a luxury oil that adds extra emolliency to soap making. With a high percentage of palmitoleic acid, this oil may act as an antioxidant. Olive Oil, pomace Contains a large portion of unsaponifiables and can help other oils to trace quicker. It attracts moisture and holds it to the skin without interfering with the normal function of the skin.
Neem Oil A widely used oil that has antibacterial, antifungal, and antiseptic properties. Reportedly helpful for psoriasis, eczema and acne. Natural flea repellent and helps relieve hot spots in pet soaps Palm Oil Contributes to producing a hard bar of soap Palm Kernel Oil Contributes to the hardness of the bar. Offered in flakes (weather permitting) for easier handling Sesame Seed Oil Similar to Shea Butter and Avocado Oil in respect to the high percentage of unsaponifiables that remain in the final bars as conditioning nutrients. Because of it's unsaturated nature, limit it's percentage to ensure a balance between the saturated or hydrogenated oils in your recipe. Sunflower Oil Great for use in soaps and lotions. High oleic sunflower oil has all the benefits of sunflower oil with a longer shelf life. Use up to 25% in soaps. Awesome in lip balms, body butters and scrubs. Sweet Almond Oil Rich in glucosides, minerals, vitamins and proteins. Good for all skin types. Aids in the relief of itchiness, inflammation and dryness. Nice choice for a superfatting oil in your soap recipe Butters Avocado Butter This creamy butter gets it's mild scent from the fruit of the Avocado tree. It contains lipids that help increase the hydration and elasticity of the skin. An elegant skin feel and rub in properties are gained with it's addition to soap and toiletry products.. Melts at body temperature. Suggested use levels: Lotion 5% - Creams 10% -Bar Soap 5% - Body Butters 5 % - 100% Cocoa Butter One whiff and it's unmistakable that this has a close relationship to chocolate. Cocoa Butter contributes moisturizing properties and helps increase hardness in soaps, and is used as a moisturizing ingredient for toiletry products. Suggested levels of use: Lotions 5% - Creams 10% -Bar Soap 3% to 5% - Body Butters 5% to 100% Coffee Butter Quite frankly the best thing to come along since sliced bread! A heavenly aroma exudes from this fantastic butter. Melts at body temperature and makes an awesome addition in lip balms, body butters, lotions and etc! Suggested levels of use: Lotions 5% - Creams 10% -Bar Soap 3% to 5% - Body Butters 5% to 100% Mango Butter Mango Butter is truly exotic! With a rich creamy, buttery texture that melts at body temperature. It makes a wonderful addition to special creams, balms, and soaps.
Shea Butter Expeller pressed, smooth and creamy in texture, light cream to white in color. Shea Butter helps retain the moisture content in the skin. It also helps protect against damaging rays of the sun ( not a replacement for sunscreen!) which attack and diminish cellular regeneration and degrades skin elasitisty. Suggested levels of use: Lotions 5% - Creams 10% - Bar Soap 3% to 6% - Body Butters 5% to 100%
